The pitch
“Today is the big day! A day that will determine the future of your entire region! As an Italian village mayor, you have to make a final decision on whether or not to install wind turbines in your village. You will have to go to the European Congress on Energy Transition and Wind Turbines, and give a public speech expounding your decision.
The thing is… you don’t know what decision to make yet. Luckily, all the concerned parties are present in the Congress’ hotel. So, you will have to go there, solves riddles to find you way around, collect information about the pros and cons of wind turbine installation, talk to stakeholders to make up your mind and finally give a public press conference explaining your final decision.

Here is the scenery of the Lobbying – Wind Turbines Game. During 45 minutes, the players you will be immersed in the lobbying and wind turbines worlds, through an interactive card game experience. They will have to search different rooms, gather information, meet influential parties, solve some riddles and make important choices! Through this game, they will learn about different lobbying mechanisms, their degree of integrity, legality and transparency, as well as different issues related to wind turbines.
Pedagogical objectives
- Learn about the different lobbying mechanisms, their role in democratic processes and their degree of integrity, transparency, ethics
- Discover the negative and positive aspects of wind turbines
- Understand the integrity and corruption issues surrounding wind turbines installation
- Stimulate curiosity and interest in these social issues, with the aim of digging deeper via additional resources
The Board Game Kit
This game is designed in a hybrid way, crossing physical and digital elements, and mixing escape game and board game logic.
You will play with some physical cards (rooms, clues..) and an app on a computer that will guide you throughout the game and act as a game master. To search the different rooms, you will have to enter the corresponding numbers in the app. You will then discover some clues, characters, puzzles to solve, and move forwards in the story.

This kit allows anyone to use and play the game for free and without any previous knowledge required. It will guide you step by step to implement the game (installation, functioning, solutions…). It includes all the necessary elements for the successful running of the game as well as some pedagogical elements on wind turbines and lobbying to go further in the learnings.
